Bright Owl Zendala Dare #85
It's been awhile since I completed a challenge or posted. We moved to a new house, and it's been a busy month with renovations starting right after we moved in, followed by Christmas! Here's my submission for this week's Zendala Dare. I don't have a printer set up yet, so I quickly drew the template by freehand, deliberately curving the three lines that cross. I've never used Rick's Paradox willingly before, but it fit really well today. Meer is a favourite of mine. PS It's -29 Celsius in Saskatchewan right now, and my finger tips are very cold, even in my house.

This is lovely. The center paradox looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteParadox is a favorite of mine and you used it nicely. I like the Meer around the edges too. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteneat I really like this one
ReplyDeleteThis is very nicely done. The Paradox makes it look complicated, but you balance that in a lovely way with the simple lines of Meer around the edges--a great decision. The result is lovely.
ReplyDeleteLike the movement you created with this. Was an additional challenge to freehand the template. I hope that it provided you some relaxation with all the things going on.
ReplyDeleteLove the geometric look!
ReplyDeleteWe've got the air-conditioning on and 2014 is less than 6 hours away over here down under.
Happy New Year!
Beautiful tile. Great tangles and really nice shading.
ReplyDeleteYour Paradox is great and so is Meer; both are favorites of mine.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr, it's quite cold where you live, here in the Netherlands is't 7 C now.
Great effect - Paradox looks really good. Happy new year! Axxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful zendala! I like this straight-line composition!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I like the way your Paradox looks like eyes around the center. I also favor Meer, and it works well here -- I especially like that you didn't fill the entire space with the Meer, rather left the white band on the inside, it really sets it off!
ReplyDeleteParadox very well done, even with cold fingers! I shy away from Meer... but you made it look like it was meant to be in that space. Very nice composition.
